no mans land

Just wanted to share my thoughts and feelings about being in no mans land: I am 51, I was adopted through Louise weis agency, I never knew how much being adopted affected me until I lost my adoptive parents. My adopted father died first and my adoptive mother pastedaway in under a year.  I went to Louise Weis to get some information, non-leading information is all New York State (NYS) will give me, I fornd I have a sibling, Sister, 5 years younger than myself. I have an aunt, I dont know if she was older or younger than my mother. I know my birth name, not ready to share that information at the moment. It is hard to explain the pain of knowing you have family outhere yet you are almost all alone. I have two children 19 and 25. so for all intent and pourpouse  they are all I have, they do have their nother and family on ther mothers side. as far as family all I have to offer them is me. but all the while knowing they have aunts cousins, possibly a grand mother , because my ...
